Starting today, Long time LSU blogger and recent Geaux Show guest Justin Goar, will be writing for us here at the geaux show. He'll be covering everything from football and baseball, to tailgating and life as a fan. Justin has authored more than 150 columns since 2000 at his personal site (http://www.tigerreport.com/) and is now the LSU Community leader at The Bleacher Report (http://bleacherreport.com/users/9359-Justin-Goar). We hope you enjoy his writing.

Because of winds and rain from Hurricane Ike, it has put our live Geaux Show in jeoparday for Saturday morning.

If we are able to set up the equipment and not have to worry about rain, we will stream live at beginning at 10:00am.

Carey (Big Wee)

The game will be at 10 a.m. , which means no live show this week. More to follow.

Okay.  Time to rethink everything.  We promised the return of The Geaux Show this Saturday, and we still plan to deliver.  Except, that we will begin around 12:30pm instead of the originally planned 2:30pm.

The LSU baseball team will be playing at 1:00 on Saturday.  Given the history of games rarely starting on time in Hoover, AL., we here at the Geaux Show figure we can give our listeners a solid hour leading into the first pitch on Saturday.

After the longest layoff since it's inception, The Geaux Show will return in full force (hopefully) this Saturday.  We will stream live via remote from Big Wee's backyard.  Air time for the show is tentatively set for 2:30pm.  We will have a 15 minute call in segment as well.  So, for those of you who plan on listening, feel free to call in.

We are doing another live show this Sunday at 6 p.m. CST. Links to listen and call in will be posted closer to show time.

Big Wee and C-Dub will be hosting and we want to hear all yalls take on this season, recruiting, your hopes for next season, and anything else you want to talk about.

The folks here at the Geaux Show have decided to start our New Year's resolutions early as the season of empty promises will come to a close. 

The Geaux Show WILL stream live Saturday, Dec 1 for the SEC Championship Game from Studio Starvin Marvin beginning at 1:00 pm, leading right into the 3:00pm kickoff on CBS.  In addition to the webcam and live chat box, Geaux Show fans will be able to call the show LIVE!!!  The full crew will be there to answer any and all questions.  The live call in number is the same as the hotline number, (775)288-3223.

So, as you are gearing up for the game on Saturday, join Big Wee, Patrick, JJ, C-Dub, PodKatt, and even Starvin Marvin and Chase for what it is sure to be an action packed two hours.

Thanks to all the fans and friends who came out. This was hands down the best weekend I have ever had as a Tigers fan. Apologies to those who watched live, between Chase dropping the ball on the generator and the flaky lsu wi-fi, it could not have been a good experience, but many of you hung on till the end. Just a friendly reminder to all of our fans that The Geaux Show will be streaming live from Team KATT Tailgating Headquarters for the LSU - VT game. 

We are located on the Parade Grounds directly across from the front steps of the LSU Student Union.  So, if you get bored with that other pregame show broadcasting live from the Parade Grounds, come stop by and see us.  We will kick things off sometime in the 10:00 hour.

Many long time Geaux Show listeners will remember Casey Gisclair was our host for the first year until he got a real job at the sports desk for The Daily Reveille. Now that the semester is over, Casey is back in da bayou and will be writing for us during the summer, covering LSU and more general sports news. Casey is know around LSU forums for having opinions that sometimes differ from the general sports fan (and some of The Geaux Show staff) so if you think he's an idiot be sure to tell him by leaving a comment on the article or sending some hate mail to geauxshow@gmail.com

Sorry about the lack of content over the last few weeks. Between equipment failure and final exams, we've been a bit overwhelmed. However, we are now back up and running and will return full blast on Sunday night. Thanks for staying subscribed.
